 Its all about Engagement!!!

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog. I hope you enjoyed my previous blog. Today I will be talking about how to engage visitors to your blog. Engagement includes many factors including like, share, comment which is feedback and indicates how well people liked your blog.

When I first started out my blog I would have struggled with getting engagement on my page, where I reached out to other bloggers along the way where they gave me some advice on how they increased their readers. Below I will talk about my past experiences, what worked best for me to increase my engagement.

I found that I needed to create content that focused on my target and present audience and second of all blogging about topics that I like writing about. This has made it a less stressful and a more enjoyable process. I found that the best way to increase my engagement was through people liking, sharing and commenting on my posts and it exposed me to new potential readers and I received feedback through the comments and I was able to see what content my readers liked and had the most interest in. I encourage this at the end of most of my blogs, I always ask for the readers opinions and feedback on the content.

I always try and keep my blogs short and sweet around 350-400 words as I find that anything more than that and my readers are not interested. I always use vibrant pictures to work along side my blogs. I recently set up a sign up notification email for all my readers that are interested in getting a notification when a new blog is uploaded, so they can go straight away and read it !! I have found this is a great feature that has increased my engagement hugely!

As I said earlier in the blog, I had talked to other bloggers in the industry and they were also happy to help share my blog on their social media accounts like Instagram and Facebook where I got lots of engagement and now weekly readers of my blogs!
